Opening Reception and Criteria Awards Ceremony - 6:30 p.m., Thursday, September 30
This is your first chance to see old friends and make new ones. After the reception, see if your community is a winner of one of the “best of the best” awards. Winners will be announced in each of the eight criteria.

These eight awards are based on feedback received from your teams of judges on outstanding efforts they witnessed during their summer of judging across America. These criteria awards only go to one community among ALL the AIB entrants across ALL population categories.


Gala Reception, Banquet and Population Awards Ceremony - 5:30 p.m., Saturday, October 2
Share last-minute community enhancement tips during the final-night reception, and then enjoy the grand finale banquet and awards ceremony. Population category winners will be announced and all of this year’s participants will be celebrated and recognized. Population awards are bestowed upon only ONE community from each population category. In addition to the population awards, the John R. Holmes III Community Champion Award winner will be announced.
