Kim Harden
Kim Harden has been an advocate for historic preservation and for the advancement of architectural design for more than 30 years. As a registered architect and a certified planner, she continues to enjoy a varied architectural practice, has taught architecture at two universities, served as a municipal senior planner, and then later as the director of a city architectural department in charge of capital improvements for parks and facilities. Pursuing her passion for historic preservation, Kim was preservation architect at the State Historic Preservation Office in Alabama for over 12 years. She also enjoys being involved in design and preservation through her participation in national, state and local AIA committees and local design review boards.
