Jack Clasen, PhD, has been an avid gardener for 50 years. He was a college professor, business co-owner, and served on numerous community boards. He continued as a volunteer after becoming a Master Gardener in 1999 as a co-founder of “Mason in Bloom” and chair of the “Art in the Garden” tours. Jack’s garden was selected  one of the top 10 gardens in Greater Cincinnati by the Cincinnati Horticultural Society, featured in Cincinnati Magazine, and filmed by HGTV.  Jack has served as an advisor for America in Bloom for 22 years, including advisor chair for 8 years. His 95 community visits include 80 in the United States and 15 as an international judge in Canada, Ireland, and Scotland.
