Kristina Whitney
Kristina Whitney currently works within the Federal Government overseeing cultural resource management and environmental law. Her background is in archaeology and historic preservation. This passion for history and preservation began at a young age with field trips to Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg and continued through a BA in anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and MA in public archaeology from the University of New Mexico. Her career in cultural resource management has spanned the public and private sectors, working in a variety of roles focused on managing buried and built heritage that include archaeologist, historic preservationist, Section 106 coordinator, curator, and tribal liaison.
