Jessica Young

Jessica Young currently works as a Program Manager for New South Associates, a cultural resources consulting firm based out of Stone Mountain, Georgia. With an M.A. from Northwestern University in Archaeology, she has performed fieldwork in Europe and the Caribbean, as well as the Southwest, Great Basin, and Southeast. While in the Southwest, she worked closely with Tribal communities in Section 106 consultation. With New South, he has managed historic architecture projects as well as historic cemetery restoration projects. She has a Certificate in Landscape Design from Emory University. Her love of gardening goes back to childhood, when she developed a landscaping and planting plan along with her father for their family home. She is particularly passionate about grass-lawn alternatives, and pollinator-friendly gardening.
