Develop an ADA Accessible Playground

Playgrounds are an important amenity for residents and should provide for all needs and abilities.

If playgrounds do not meet ADA requirements, select at least one playground and update it to an all-abilities playground including flexible surfaces, roller tables, gliders, spinners, and ramps for accessibility. This playground will become the most popular for all children of all abilities.
Look to community-based organizations (Kiwanis, Lions, faith-based organizations, and neighborhood associations) to help with campaigns to raise awareness and funds. Below are weblinks to help you develop a compelling campaign and strategies to find successful donors.
