Plastic Bag Recycling

The use of plastic bags is a major issue around the world. Some countries and U.S. communities have banned them.

Where plastic bags are in use they should not be placed in with other recyclables since they are contaminates often clogging sorting machinery. Removing them at the recycling facility is labor intensive, slows down the recycling process, and adds expense.

Visit https://www.plasticfilmrecycling.org/recycling-bags-and-wraps/find-drop-off-location/ to find out the types of plastic bags/film that is recyclable and a list of stores where plastic bags can be dropped off. This site will also allow adding locations or help with setting up a collection program. Share the store locations and the link above with everyone in the community.
